Front Yard Landscape

Since the weather getting warmer my husband and I spend most of our days off working on our yard.  We both optimistic that we can grow plants even though its our first time that we do gardening.  We are new to this neighborhood based on our observation people here take their yard seriously. I mean really they could careless spending $$$ for the beautiful landscape.  Luckily the previous owner of our house already started the landscaping and all we need to do is just polishing and re-planting new plants according to our preferences. We started by trimming the bushes, cutting the lawn and planting colorful bloomers flowers to make our front yard feel more welcoming. Then to add accent we put new mulch to retains water, and keeps down weeds, which reduces the need for upkeep. Beautification doesn’t have to mean spending much money , update our self to what store has sale.  You can have a yard make over that wont hurt your pocket.  How about you what do you like in your yard?

The Japanese Red Maple Tree is now growing

This Japanese Maple Tree can cost between $80 – $100 depends on the size and the leaves counts. based on our local garden store like Lowes and Home Depot
In our front yard I planted the Dwarf Korean Lilac and Fire Bushes

  1. Looks great! I can’t wait to see your yard in a year, I bet it’ll look amazing with all the new plants growing.

  2. Wow, good for you! Our has a lot of work to do… Because we wanted to change plants. Her plants were actually expensive but I don’t like much bees lingering while sleeping outside during summer. I had them cut, trimmed and remove the stump which is really expensive. And after a year we are still trying to make it more appealing. Not even close to 50%!!! OMG! And we already spent a lot. 😦 I guess you also have to add mulch every year or so because it fades. And the grass.. I hate weeds! I buy bulks of expensive weed and feed because I don’t want to ruin my neighbors! 😦 If I have the money I would have everything cemented! LOL!

  3. love the color of the mulch you use, somehow, it looks cool for the plants, by next year or a few years from now, your plants will grow and multiply beautifully. love your yard.
